Installation guide for built-in magnetostrictive displacement sensor

To adapt to the installation of magnetostrictive displacement sensors in hydraulic cylinders, we recommend using a measuring rod and mounting flange, as well as a Class B electrical sensor system, sealed with O-ring and fixing ring. Use a measuring rod with fixed screws.

When installing magnets, please use non magnetized fixing materials (such as screws, isolation washers, and supports)

2. The sensor tube is fixed with an M18 * 1.5 threaded flange, and non magnetized materials should be used during installation.

3. If using magnetized materials, please refer to the installation instructions for magnetizable materials for installation.

4. To meet the requirements of EMC for radiation standards, a shielding shell is required to be connected to the mechanical ground wire

Please note during installation

The position magnet should not rub against the measuring rod.

The drilling of the piston rod depends on the hydraulic pressure and the speed of the piston.

The minimum aperture is 13mm and should not exceed the peak pressure.
